Cat Adams attempts to drive a wedge between her and Reid by telling her about Reid's actions towards her, including him being falsely responsible for her miscarriage before asking Max if anyone has hurt her. It is revealed that Cat Adams ordered her former cellmate, Juliette Weaver to kidnap Maxine's father and sister. She is waiting in Reid's apartment when she witnesses Reid and Cat Adams kiss. She, alongside her brother, is one of the youngest members of the BAU. Lily is also the fraternal twin sister of Spencer Reid. She is married to Aaron Hotchner, her Unit Chief, with whom she has a daughter with named Hope. The team doesnt, though-all theyre concerned with is the fact that they might have. In the middle of a tense, atmospheric episode, Spencer Reid ( Matthew Gray Gubler) struggles with turning 30. Max arrives at Reid's apartment, about to go on their third coffee date when he is called into work about a father and daughter abduction.
Max is last seen waiting for him and they take a walk together. She tells Reid to find her after he tells her about his occupation. After striking a conversation with him and her sister picks up Sammy, she continues talking to him and ends up spending the rest of the day with him. She is insisted by Sammy to have Reid spend some time with them after he shows them a magic trick to calm him down, but not before warning him not to exchange names or phone numbers. Reid tries to have her car not be towed away but is unsuccessful. Max is first seen when her nephew Sammy approaches Reid at a food truck in the park before her car being towed.
She also admits to not liking her name 'Maxine'. Her family includes her father, Don, two sisters, Eloise and Michelle, and a nephew, Sammy from her sister Michelle. Not much is revealed about Max except she has a degree in art history and is an art teacher.
